The Tesla 120W box mod has been a popular, powerful and reliable box mod for quite some time, but it just got an upgrade! The unique Tesla box mod, 120W version, comes in 4 different styles: Black Aluminum, Silver Aluminum, Red Wood and Ebony Wood. So no matter what you're into, there's an option for you.
The major upgrade this mod just got though is the ever popular temperature control. This allows you to set a temperature that you do not want the mod to go above. Why is this useful? Well for one, cotton burns at approximately 400 degrees Fahrenheit. So if you set the temperature control at that temperature, you can avoid burning your wick if your wick is dry.

Another benefit to temperature control is safety: vaping CAN release toxic chemicals if the temperature is too high. The chemicals that make up your e-Liquid can degrade and change at extreme temperatures. These temperatures are usually achieved when vaping over 5V. We don't know the exact temperature that this chemical breakdown occurs at yet, but temperature control mods, like the Tesla 120W mod, will help to eliminate this problem by preventing the temperatures from ever getting that high.
One thing when using temperature control, you have to use nickel 200 wire for your coil. The resistance of Nickel increases proportionally to its temperature unlike Kanthal. This allows the mod to know the temperature of the coils based on its resistance. The mod will still work like normal with Kanthal, you just can't use the temperature control features.
So what else does the Tesla 120W do? One of the nice features about it is that if you go past 120W on the box mod, it will take you back to your starting wattage. Helpful so that you have to don't have to click through wattage as much.
In addition to that, it has a magnetic back cover to make battery change easy and the digital display will tell you wattage, temperature, voltage and resistance. You can also lock the power; lock just the screen, and inverse the display to accommodate left or right-handed people.
The Tesla 120W mod also has a compact profile considering its power. It's only 4.33″ L x 2.4″ W x 1.14″ H for the metal version and 4.65″ L x 2.52″ W x 1.10″ H for the wood version.
This mod is stable down to .18 ohms for all you cloud chasers out there too!
And last but certainly not least, the Tesla 120W is packed full of safety features. It has a MOSFET chip and will protect against short circuits, low/high voltage and low resistance.
So does that all sound? A stylish mod with temperature control that goes up to 120W, sub ohm stable and packed with safety so you can vape easy.
We've tried and we love it, if you're in the market for a new temperature control box mod, definitely check out the Tesla 120W.
