According to health experts, each day more than 3,200 people under 18 smoke their first cigarette, and approximately 2,100 youth and young adults become daily smokers. Around 9 out of 10 smokers also start before the age of 18, and a whopping 98% start smoking by the age of 26. In 2011 alone, an estimated 19% of US adults were cigarette smokers.
What these people don't know (or refuse to be aware of) is that tobacco use is the leading cause of preventable illness and death in the US, as well as in the rest of the developed and developing world. It causes many different cancers as well as chronic lung diseases like emphysema and bronchitis, heart disease, pregnancy-related problems and other serious health problems.

But before quitting cold turkey, or using nicotine candies and patches, famed health and wellness expert Jane Fielder suggests that you try a more potent, yet relaxing way of kicking the habit, and it's through Hypnotherapy Adelaide.
Again, why is smoking harmful to smokers, and the general public? Well, according to data from US health experts, more than 16 million people already have at least one disease from smoking, and more than 20 million people in the US alone have died because of smoking since 1964, including approximately 2.5 million deaths due to exposure to secondhand smoke. On average, smokers die 13 to 14 years earlier than non-smokers.
However, Jane Fielder stresses that if the individual is bent on quitting smoking, then hypnotherapy is the best way to go. Through the Centre's Quit Smoking Breakthrough Program, the patient will be able to let go of smoking easily through the power of hypnosis. Miss Fielder adds that her goal is to provide the individual “with all the tools they need to be a non-smoker in all situations, and to be empowered and gain health and vitality”.
And as the society continually demands a smoke-free environment, it's no longer cool to be seen smoking, and even children are now telling their parents and grandparents to quit the habit so that they will be around for them much longer.
Jane Fielder recommends one hypnosis session, as most clients become a non-smoker as they enter the Hypnosis room at the center. The Hypnosis and NLP Quit Smoking Program eventually reinforces all the reasons the individual has for being a non-smoker for the rest of their life.
Miss Fielder notes that all that it takes to succeed is a commitment to attend all your booked sessions, practice the self-hypnosis techniques, listen to all the take-home CD's, take 100% responsibility for your desired outcome in being a non-smoker in all situations, and focus on what you want.
Jane Fielder is an accredited member of the Australian Hypnotherapists Association, and her qualifications include the following: BSc; Grad Dip Soc Sc; Dip. Clin.Hyp.; Cert. Master NLP, CMAHA.
